Effects

Effects overview

This post contains info on the different effects pedalboards I use. For an in-depth look at all the different effects and tools (not just the ones currently on the main pedalboard), I’ve broken them down into groups and put them in separate posts. Again, this bit might only be interesting to some of you, but

Overdrive/Distortion/Fuzz

All the noisemakers, rolled into one post. I think this is all of them, but probably not. Come to think of it, there are also a bunch of different DIY projects in various stages of finished-ness… But these are the ones that either gets rotated on one of the pedalboards, or that I can grab

Gain/Filter/EQ/Octave

Pedals that change the tone or pitch, but aren’t the distortion type. Sort of… — Digitech EX-7 Expression factory I’m not really sure which category this one belongs in, as it provides lots of different (simulated) effects. But going by the type of effects I mainly use it for, this is the place for it.

Modulation/Rotary

Effects that go ”swoosh”… this post contains all the pedals that somehow qualify as ”modulation” – chorus, tremolo, phaser, leslie simulator etc. — Voodoo Lab Tremolo This is the four knob version – I got it when I was using a Boogie Blue Angel combo and needed a tremolo for one song. Actually, I didn’t

Delay/Reverb

I admit – I’m a delay junkie! Not that I normally drown my guitar parts in delay – I tend to use them more for ”space” and to fill out the sound – but I do have three delays on my main pedalboard, so I still probably qualify as some kind of delay nut… No

Signal routers and other tools

Here are all the other stuff that I find essential, but which aren’t technically effects as such. Tuners, true bypass loop boxes, ABY boxes, line/DI boxes – you get the drift… — Stinkfoot true bypass loop strip I built this one for my own pedalboard, as I wanted to be able to have lots of
